Now let me try to explain what you're
looking at. The white square in the middle is the property.
The darker areas are all privately owned forest land, and the lighter
areas adjacent to the lake are government land.
Currently, there are two ways to access
the property. The first is that curving line you see on the left
or west of the property. That's a jeep trail through one private
owner and crossing a bit of government land. That's the road that
we used for decades in accessing this property, but nowadays, we have
the new deeded easement that runs to along the property's east boundary.
This is an easement, both for access and for electricity and will make a
much better roadway. It has had some 2"-3" rock put down and when
opened should handle traffic much better than the old route.
