The highest temperature ever recorded in Missouri is 118°, Fahrenheit. This record high was recorded on July 15, 1936 at Clinton, on July 18, 1936 at Lamar, and on July 14, 1954 at Warsaw and Union.

The lowest temperature on record in Missouri, -40°, was recorded one God-forsaken night, February 13, 1905 at Warsaw.  Obviously, one would be well advised to stay out of Warsaw.

Mostly, however, it's a lot nicer than that.  Monthly average temperatures range from a high of 90.5 degrees to a low of 19.4 degrees giving a year-round average of 54.95 degrees.
