Beneath the whole
Ozarks region, are massive deposits of limestone, hearkening back to the time
in prehistory when this area was covered by ocean. While having the area
submerged for several eons wreaked havoc with the local tourist industry of
the time, it left us with one of the largest and best aquifers imaginable.
In hunting for land,
we've come across some areas near major rivers where the water table is very,
very deep, but for the most part, you'll find clean, clear water at a
reasonable depth wherever you choose to drill.
