The Access Road - Through the Pines

The first half-mile of the access road passes through this pine plantation. The road has a couple of mudholes that are gooey in wet weather, other than that it's not so bad.

Long View from the Access Road

This beautiful panorama that opens up after you leave the woods belies the fact that the road is about to get quite a bit worse.

The Access Road - Worse than it Looks

This was the worst spot in the road the day we took these photos, but it's actually worse than this makes it appear.

It Takes Generations to Grow a Forest Like This

Along the access road, you'll have seen some recently clear-cut land that won't look as good as this forest 100 years from now.

The parcel is fairly level along the road frontage, getting steeper as you go further back.

The road ends a few feet beyond the parcel.

Here are three rather gloomy-looking photos I took on the parcel March 16th.
